This summer, The University of Leeds will host its largest art show of the year, presenting a collaboration of 47 artists. The iconic Parkinson building will be the stage to a welcome party that will lead viewers through corridors and staircases to the underground Wunderkammer where they will embark on a journey; navigating their way through the fresh contemporary work of young artists working in the North.

It will not be possible to be passive within this engaging environment, in which viewers will find themselves entering into a dialogue with the work. Once inside the Wunderkammer each viewer can choose a route to follow along which they will encounter work from across all disciplines; ranging from intimate installation to thought-provoking video and highly skilled drawing, punctuated with live performances.

The exhibition is the culmination of research and practice from the students of Leeds University's Fine Art programme.

The opening event will begin with the audience congregating outside the Parkinson building, Woodhouse Lane, Leeds, for an introductory performance and procession to the exhibition space.
